Ice Cream Social
At the end of each summer, St. Paul’s Church hosts a community Ice Cream Social. This tradition dates back to the mid 1930’s when the young people of the congregation organized a similar event called the Lawn Fete. The event includes a delicious meal, baked goods donated by members of the congregation, and of course, homemade ice cream. There is also live music, a raffle including a variety of themed baskets, and children’s games. Each year, the proceeds from this event are donated to a different cause within the church or community.
